It is wonderful news: the Massabki Brothers, Francis, Abdul-Moati and Raphael, will be canonised on 20 October 2024. That just happens to be the day the Maronite Liturgy commences at Our Lady of the Rosary, The Entrance, every Sunday at 5:00pm. Is this a coincidence?

I shall have to return to this topi, but for now I wanted to get the good news out. It is surprising how few Maronites know of the Massabkis, or if they have heard of them, do not know why they are being canonised. They were martyred on 10 July 1860.
