The Extraordinary Form of the Mass, also known as the Tridentine Mass, or “the old Latin Mass” is celebrated at each Sunday, at 4.30pm, at St Benedict’s, Arcadia, 6 Fagan’s Road, Arcadia. (This is the Parish Church, not the Monastery Chapel, which is entered from Arcadia Road.)
Of course, in accordance with that venerable Rite, communion is administered only on the tongue. Those who do not wish to receive the Sacred Host in that manner may come to the altar rails, bow their heads, and place their hands on the opposite shoulders, in the form of a cross. They will be given a blessing, and desirous of receiving the grace of the Lord, will be making a spiritual act of communion.
